Connection with Garmin
If you have a Garmin device and want to connect it to Vitaance, you can do so through Apple Health if you use an iPhone. If you are using Android, direct connection with Google Fit is currently not possible since Garmin does not offer this service. Below, we explain what you can do in this case.
If you have an iPhone, follow these steps:
1. Open the Apple Health app (Health) and go to your profile.
2. Go to Connected Apps and select Garmin Connect (or just Connect).
3. Activate all permissions to sync your activity.
And that’s it!
You can check if the connection is correct by going to the Garmin app > More options (…) > Connected Apps. Here, you will find a list of the apps you have connected; make sure that Apple Health is one of them.
If you have Android:
Unfortunately, if you are using Android, it’s a bit more complicated since there is currently no direct connection with Google Fit.
To sync your activity and join Vitaance challenges, we recommend using the Google Fit app directly.
